Jackson fan shines on 'X Factor' week 3

MANILA, Philippines -- An avid fan of the King of Pop Michael Jackson stood out among the many hopefuls on the third week of ABS-CBN's newest talent search "The X Factor Philippines."

Paolo Castro, a gay fashion stylist, wowed the shows judge's Pilita Corrales, Charice, Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano with his rendition of Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel."

Castro, who claimed to have been abused by his father when he was young, said he is only seeking acceptance as he vowed to follow the footsteps of his idol.

Meanwhile, Jordan Bautista, the brother of balladeer Christian Bautista, proved that he can also sing with his rendition of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together."

Hoping to step out from the shadow of his famous brother, Bautista said he lined up with his father and patiently waited to be called to the stage and perform for the judges.

Allen Jane Sta. Maria, 17, performed Keri Hilson's "Turn My Swag On."

Anton Antenorcruz, 19, who works in Singapore, sang Guy Sebastian's "Angels Brought Me Here."

The duo Father & Son performed their version of Guns 'N Roses' rock anthem "Sweet Child O’ Mine," which was also the audition song of Sherwin Rosco.

Harmonique Voices sang Lady Gaga's "Born this Way," while The Nightingales rocked out on Ike and Tina Turner’s "Proud Mary."

Daddy's Home, which is composed of four fathers, wowed the judges with two songs -- Valenciano's"Sana Maulit Muli" and Boyz II Men's "I'll Make Love To You."

Jeric Medina took on South Border's R&B ballad "Love of My Life," while 21-year-old Carol Leus peformed Aretha Franklin's "(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman."

Working student King Fernando, 24, performed David Cook's "Always Be My Baby," while 18-year-old Iñigo Cruz sang "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" by The Script.

Diane Angeli Vergoza, 16, performed Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful," and Marlo Mortel, 19, sang "Forget You" by Cee Lo Green.

Aretha Angcao, who is a theater performer sang, selected "Climb Every Mountain" from the musical "The Sound of Music," while Leslie Baculi picked another Broadway tune, "Defying Gravity" from "Wicked."

The boy band Take-Off performed Taio's "Dynamite," while lounge singer Christine Ledesma sang the classic "Over The Rainbow."
