Amalia: Annabelle is a danger to society
MANILA, Philippines – Former actress Amalia Fuentes said talent manager Annabelle Rama should be rehabilitated after her supposed "meltdown" at a wake last Friday.

Fuentes on Saturday said Rama is a "danger to society," a day after the talent manager figured in a commotion during the wake of the late comedy king Dolphy at the Heritage Park in Taguig, where she was caught on camera trying to hit entertainment reporter Chito Alcid with a walking stick.
Fuentes, when asked to react to the scuffle, said commenting on the issue would be beneath her. In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Rama alleged that Fuentes was the instigator of the fight, saying the provocation was pre-meditated.
"Makikita niyo ang tunay na Annabelle Rama. Ako, gusto niya ako mag-react pero hindi naman ako matatakot sa kanya. At hindi ko siya papatulan. Hindi ko siya ka-level," Fuentes said.
No fear of Annabelle
Rama claimed that she was provoked by Alcid, supposedly upon orders of Fuentes, when Alcid referred to her (Rama) using a derogatory term. The ensuing commotion saw Rama running after Alcid holding a walking stick, and Alcid falling on the floor from panic to keep away from the talent manager.

"Ewan ko sa kanya, may hawak pa siyang panaksak," Fuentes said, referring to Rama. "Sabi ko, si Annabelle Rama, that is a meltdown. She should be rehabilitated because she is a danger to society. Kumakain lang kami doon, wala namang umaaway sa kanya. She is a danger to the public."
"Pinupukpok niya 'yung baston sa mesa, sabi pa niya, 'Hindi ito payong. Itutusok ko ito sa'yo.' Tapos may hawak siyang knife. At kung anu-ano sinasabi niya kay Chito," Fuentes added.
The reference to an umbrella comes from an alleged scuffle involving Fuentes early this month. In a confrontation with the former tenants of her previous home, Fuentes was allegedly stabbed by a certain Rosemarie Tan-Licup with an umbrella.
Rama's rift with Alcid, meanwhile, supposedly stems from his negative write-ups on the controversial talent manager in his published articles.
"Hindi ako natatakot kay Annabelle," Fuentes said. "Wala akong reaction sa kanya. Kayo na ang mag-judge, ayoko mag-judge. Bahala na kayo mga press."
