MANILA, Philippines - Wowowee’s female co-hosts finally reacted to a report saying that the hit noontime show will be re-launched anytime soon.

Report has it that with the show’s new format, hosts RR Enriquez, Mariel Rodriguez and Pokwang will no longer be part of it.

Pokwang and Enriquez both said they are not aware of the recent news.

I’m just like you guys. Hindi naman nila kami sinasabihan. Lagi kong sinasabi, soldier lang ako. Kung saan ako papuntahin sumusunod lang ako. Pero anything can happen. Hindi ko talaga alam,” Rodriguez quipped.

Reports said Pokwang and Rodriguez will be kicked out from "Wowowee" once its main man Willie Revillame returns from his indefinite break this September.

Saan kami pupunta? Wala.

For Mariel, she said she will just leave everything to the management.

“I said, I’m a soldier.

Showbiz wags earlier said Revillame wants the two female co-hosts, Pokwang and Rodriguez, out of the show for being very vocal in supporting President Benigno Aquino III in the recent automated elections. Revillame endorsed Senator Manuel Villar for president.

Pokwang and Rodriguez were also present during the inauguration of P. Noy at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila and at the street party and inaugural concert of the President held at the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City last June 30.

Re-launch or new show?

Almost two weeks ago, ABS-CBN Corporate Communications Head Bong Osorio dismissed as mere speculation reports that back-to-back programs starring Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla will replace the top-rating entertainment show "Wowowee" on the noontime slot.

"Wala pa, speculations pa lang 'yan. It's mere speculations. There's no official announcement at the moment," Osorio told abs-cbnNEWS.com.

The Philippine Star reported that ABS-CBN's morning shows will change starting this month of September and Kris Aquino, sister of President Aquino, will be hosting a new noontime show to replace "Wowowee."

Aquino recently resigned as host of ABS-CBN gossip shows "The Buzz" and "Showbiz News Ngayon" after her brother was elected president of the Philippines.

Though Osorio did not deny nor confirm the report, he said everything will be announced at the proper time.

"We will have proper communication if there will be changes in our daytime shows," he said.
