MANILA - If reports are true that KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual are more than friends, KC's father Gabby Concepcion has no problem with it.

Former matinee idol Gabby shared that he already met and talked to hunk actor Piolo Pascual, who is now romantically linked to his daughter KC Concepcion. 

In an interview, Gabby shared that if ever his daughter finds love with Pascual, then he has nothing against it since he thinks Pascual is a "nice guy."

"He is a nice guy. We talked a few times. If they become friends - or more than friends - in the future, it's great," Gabby said.

Gabby also gave his advice to the young pair, who are busy working together for ABS-CBN's upcoming television series "Lovers in Paris."

"Ang important ay 'yong communication, [na] 'yong relationship ay maging healthy. It's a good thing na maging magkaibigan sila no matter what, saan man mapunta 'yon," said Gabby, the ex-husband of Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

The actor-father said that he just wants his daughter to feel good. As for Pascual, he said that he will honor and respect whatever makes his daughter happy.

"Si KC naman ay tunay na tao. Marami ding nagmamahal sa kanya at nararamdaman niya din kung sino ang nagmamahal sa kanya. I'm happy if shes happy. What's good for her is good for me," Gabby said.

Just recently, Pascual admitted that he is wooing KC once again. Meanwhile, KC shared that Pascual is pursuing her in a "very conventional way."
 
It will be recalled the Concepcion was one of many who supported the KC-Piolo tandem for "Lovers in Paris."

In a previous interview, the former matinee idol said he sees nothing wrong if KC will be paired with various leading men like Pascual.
