'Walang Hanggan' cast, crew celebrate ratings
MANILA, Philippines – The cast and crew of the ABS-CBN top-rating series “Walang Hanggan” took a break from taping as they gathered on Monday to celebrate the show’s high ratings.
“Walang Hanggan” has consistently bagged the top spot among primetime shows and everyone involved in the show could not be any more thankful for the support from the viewers.

Veteran actresses Helen Gamboa and Susan Roces warmly hugged each other at the thanksgiving party, temporarily leaving behind their rival characters.
“Wala ng tumatawag sa akin ng Helen, puro Doña Margaret. Baka mamaya may bumato na lang bigla sa akin... pero hindi naman,” said Gamboa in jest.
Gamboa said even her husband Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III gets carried away with “Walang Hanggan”’s storyline.
“Si Tito, natatawa siya. Sabi niya sa akin ‘Ano ba yan! Awang-awa na ako kay Ate Henya mo,’” she shared. Henya is the character played by Roces.
Actor Paulo Avelino revealed that he treats his “Walang Hanggan” co-stars as his second family.
“Para kaming malaking pamilya kahit mga tao sa production malapit sa amin, lalo 'yung mga stars, nagtutulungan lagi,” he said.
Meanwhile, actress Melissa Ricks surprised her fellow actors when she arrived in the party with boyfriend Paul Jake Castillo.
Aside from celebrating their high ratings, the thanksgiving party also served as an advanced birthday celebration of Roces, who will be turning 71 on July 28. – from a report by Gretchen Fullido, ABS-CBN News
