Willie Revillame returning to 'Wowowee?'
MANILA, Philippines – Willie Revillame is remaining mum on speculations that he is set to make a comeback on his popular noontime show “Wowowee” on July 31.
Revillame, the controversial on-leave host of “Wowowee,” merely shrugged his shoulder when asked by ABS-CBN News to confirm the rumors.
Revillame declined to discuss the speculations. And even the host's close friends kept quiet on the issue.
While Revillame seemed to be taking a wait-and-see-attitude, an ABS-CBN official was categorical in denying the speculations.
"Ang mga lumalabas na bali-balita tungkol kay Willie Revillame at sa Wowowee ay mga espekulasyon. Nag-usap na ang ABS-CBN management at si Willie kung ano ang options o mga posibleng gagawin pagkatapos ng kanyang break,” Bong Osorio, head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, said in a statement.

“Wala pang napagkakasunduan ang ABS-CBN at si Willie. Kung mayroon mang pagbabagong magaganap, ito'y opisyal na ipahahayag ng ABS-CBN sa takdang panahon.” Osorio added.
Revillame went on indefinite leave following his outburst in May of this year on "Wowowee." Fellow Kapamilya talent Jobert Sucaldito’s alleged non-stop criticisms of “Wowowee” have reportedly triggered his outburst.
Revillame last May demanded that the network fire Sucaldito, and threatened to leave the network if his request was rejected.
Revillame then wrote ABS-CBN chairman Eugenio Lopez III and president Charo Santos-Concio a letter, asking them to release him from his contract. This prompted the big bosses to call a closed-door meeting.
During the meeting, both parties agreed that the host would take an indefinite break effective immediately, although "his contract obligations with ABS-CBN hold."
“Willie has realized his mistake and apologized to ABS-CBN management for his outburst on air in Wowowee on May 4, 2010, and his failure to report to work since May 5, 2010. ABS-CBN management has accepted Willie’s apology,” the network said. -Report from Gretchen Fullido, ABS-CBN News

Sana huwag ng ibalik si Willie sa ABS-CBN kasi hindi sya mabuting tao na hindi dapat gayahin ng iba lalong lalo na ang mga kabataang Pinoy. Sa mga nakita kong mga naging tv host since 1950's ay wala ng tutulad pa kay Willie Revillame. Siya na yata ang pinaka garapal at pinaka bastos na host na nakita ko. At hindi lamang yon, siya na ang pinaka mayabang na tv host na nakita ko sa buong buhay ko. Kung sakaling ibalik nya si Willie Revillame sa ABS-CBN ay hindi na ako magsu-subscribe the TFC.
Oust Willie.
Please don't let him back to Wowowee... Ang news na babalik si Willie ay gawa-gawa lang ni Willie ito, gusto lang niyang makita o maramdaman kong ano ang sasabihin ng viewers. So please peole let's send out feelings to ABS-CBN that we do not need an Arrogant, Nasty, Maniac and bugaw in Wowowee.

Di naman sa pagyayabang pero majority ng mga OFWs are educated and intelligent. Di kami karaniwang masa na pwedeng bolahin at paikutin ng isang Willie Revillame. Subok lang, ibalik nyo si Willie tapos mag tour ulit kayo around the world, tingnan ko lang kung may hind bumato ng kamatis sa show nyo! This is daylight hypocrasy! It seems may katotohanan sa mga rumors nato kasi yung picture ni willie sa column nato is yung hindi nakakainis! Norm yan ng written news kung may magandang gustong ibroadcast and opposite picture naman kung masama ang gustong isulat. I was a die hard kapamilya and wowowee fan before but after the incident natabangan nako and i discovered na mas maganda pala ang eat bulaga lalo na yung pinoy henyo and bayanihan of the people segments nila (the rest are crap).
Of course maganda pa rin naman ang mga teleserye ng ABS compared to GMA, pero pagdating sa noontime show, except "SHOWTIME" (shit Im a big fan), palpak sila (of course I'm referring to wowowee). By the way, i'm working in Dubai and I subscribed to E-VISION kaya i have both channels on my decoder. yun lang!

i love watching eat bulaga and sometimes i watch wowowee also. but be fair to everyone, they are still lot of people out there who loves to see willie in wowowee. i believe that people are not only subscribing tfc because of wowowee. coz channel2 has good shows. they have better teleseryes compared with the other network, . i love their documentaries, of course the SHOWTIME! :)

Yun mga nagsasabi na ipapa cancel nila ang TFC subscription nila...puro sila hipokrito! alam naman nila na hindi lang wowowee ang palabas sa TFC, pra mo na rin pinutol ang connection mo sa pinas pag ginawa nila un..hehe.
kung ang subscription nila is on monthly basis madaling mag skip ng payment then cut ang signal. pero kung nka company account ang subscription at yearly ang payment..ewan ko lang kung mapapaputol nyo ng basta basta kc tiyak manghihinayang kyo sa ibinayad..

wowowee`s rating went down. and the remaining hostesses are soooo boring! so its either the management return willie in wowowee or find a better host than him. or you can give willie a chance to prove himself to people. i know, many are against with him, but many are also looking forward to see him again in his show. anyway, he didnt murdered anyone. he maybe got pissed off to jobert. (but why abscbn letting this kind of people like jobert, bad mouthing with their own show?) parang binabayaran mo yung tao para siraan yung sarili mong mga shows. i know what willie said on air is absolutely wrong and out of anger hinamon nya management. and i guess what is important is he apologized and realized his fault. there`s no harm on trying if you will let him in again in wowowee. besides, he is still part of a family (kapamilya).

Please ABS-CBN, we deserve a better host and role model than Willie. Please upgrade the the level of consciousness among Pinoys. Hope you can find a host that will influence Pinoys in better ways. Please start educating Pinoy so we can move up as a society. You have a big influence please use it. Don't discount the capacity of his audience, they need someone better than him.
