MANILA - Comedian Ryan Bang did not mince words when he said that he does not like PBA player Terrence Romeo for his close friend, Vice Ganda.

This after Romeo allegedly posted a message on Facebook saying that he loves Vice Ganda.

But instead of confirming or denying the rumor, Bang expressed his disapproval of the basketball player for his "It's Showtime" co-host.

"'Yung totoo, hindi ako boto kay Terrence. Pero mag-support ako kung saan masaya si Mommy," he said, referring to Vice Ganda.

When asked why he is against the cager for his "Mommy," Bang said: "Hindi ako boto kay Terrence kasi nakita ko na nasaktan ang Mommy ko.

Bang made it clear, however, that he has yet to meet Romeo personally.

He added that he respects Vice Ganda's decision should he decide to choose Romeo.

Ayaw kong umiiyak ang Mommy ko," he said.

Romeo has been linked to Vice Ganda since his stint in the UAAP as a player for the Far Eastern University Tamaraws, which the comedian has been vocal of supporting as an alumnus of the school.

Last May, Romeo went on record to clarify his rumored ties with Vice Ganda, following the latter's confirmation that he broke up with his mystery boyfriend.

Romeo lamented that the rumor has long affected his image, and that he wants it to be put to rest. He also asked fans of Vice Ganda to stop spreading rumors about him.

Isang multo yan ng imahe ko na gusto ko nang mabura totally," he said in an interview with Spin.ph.
