MANILA – The mother of "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) housemate Fifth Pagotan has expressed her full support for her son after he admitted earlier in the week to being bisexual.

In the Wednesday episode of the reality show, Fifth admitted being bothered by an anonymous comment from "the outside world."

"Ayan na naman si ****, parang bakla kung magreklamo kaya siguro 'di sila magkasundo ni ****," a comment read to the housemates by co-host Robi Domingo said.

Although the comments did not identify anyone, Fifth admitted he felt the statement mentioning someone's sexuality pertained to him. He noted that last week, he was complaining a lot about complications in their tasks.

In an exclusive interview with “The Buzz,” Fifth’s mother Mrs. Gloria Pagotan said she was surprised when Fifth made the confession on national television.

However, she said she has known Fifth's sexual preference since he was young.

“On TV, nagulat ako. Nagulat talaga kami.

Walang usapan,” she added.

According to Mrs. Pagotan, she gets hurt whenever there are people who judge her son for being a bisexual.

“Siyempre bilang ina, nasasaktan ako. Hinuhusgahan siya na bisexual. Ano ba ang masama sa bisexual? Hindi naman siya pumatay. Hindi naman siya nagnakaw. Hindi niya kasalanan na naging ganun siya,” she said.

Stressing that she does not mind her son’s sexual orientation, Mrs. Pagotan added she will always support Fifth as long as he is happy.
