MANILA - Beauty queen titlist and award-winning host Miriam Quiambao said she doesn't mind being deglamorized in her latest comedy film “Kimmy Dora.”

Quiambao plays the battered executive secretary of lead star Eugene Domingo.

Quiambao also pointed out that professional actors should not be conscious with their look when portraying a role.

Ginagawa ko ang role and I have to believable and it doesn't matter [kung ma-deglamorize ako]," Quiambao added.

The 1999 Miss Universe first runner-up shared that she is having a blast acting and might now focus on doing films.

"I mean [hosting] in the future pwede ko pa ding gawin iyon kasi doon ako nagsimula," she clarified.
