MANILA -- Local entertainment stars expressed their support for their co-artist, Kris Aquino, youngest daughter of former President Corazon Aquino, who is battling cancer and is still confined at the Makati Medical Center.

Amid false reports that Mrs. Aquino had died Friday, some of the celebrities extended their message of support and encouragement to Cory, Kris and family.

"Our family will always be there for your family. I feel like I know your family also because of my family. So we wish you all the best. For your mom, our prayer and hope that all of you will always be strong, and we are here to support you."
