MANILA - Actress Claudine Barretto feels honored by Batangas Governor Vilma Santos' recent remark that she is a great actress who could be the next Star for All Seasons.

"Alam mo, Vilmanian kasi ako. Sabi ko, 'Ate I will try to be the best Claudine Barretto that I could ever be, but there will be not be another Vilma Santos.'

"But I'm very honored, of course, galing kay Ate Vi, Star for All Seasons.

In a solo press conference last week for Santos' five-part television series, "Vilma: A Woman For All Seasons," the governor said she likes Barretto's acting skills.

Santos and Barretto worked together in the multi-awarded film, "Anak," in 2001 under Star Cinema.
