Sarah denies mom told Gerald to stop courting her
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) - Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo doused speculations that it was her mother, Divine, who asked actor Gerald Anderson to stop wooing her.
So, wala, hindi si mommy," Geronimo said on Sunday during "Sarah G Live" on ABS-CBN.
Sarah's mom also broke her silence and hinted that it was Anderson who gave up on pursuing Sarah.
Kasi babae 'yung anak ko but ewan ko kung dapat sabihin pero hindi yata ano, pero kung hindi mapagtiyagaan 'yung ganoon, wala kaming [ magagawa]," Divine said as Sarah was trying to stop her from revealing more details.
Divine told her daughter that God will eventually give her the right man.
"Oo nga, di naman ako nagmamadali, muntik lang...," said Sarah, after which she cried.
Last week, reports surfaced that Sarah and Gerald ended their special relationship because of Sarah's parents.
Gerald started courting Sarah last February.
