MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) - Kris Aquino on Friday denied any romantic links between her and two well-known politicians.

In an exclusive tell-all interview with "Showbiz News Ngayon" host Boy Abunda, Aquino denied being linked to Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero and Makati Mayor Jejomar "Junjun" Binay.

"Maganda po ang kuwentong ito. Kasi Boy ganito, proclamation ni PNoy (his brother President Benigno Aquino III) sa Batasan. Sinamahan ko si PNoy paakyat. All my sisters were already sitting there, so I went up with him. And then nakita niya si Senator Chiz at sinabi niya, 'O Kristina, si Senator Chiz.' And then sinabi ko na 'Senator, thank you for all the help.' And then I said this - and may mga nakarinig, so malamang doon nagsimula, hindi ko alam - I said, 'O, Senator, sa 2016, puwede tayong magtambalan, at may slogan na tayo: Chiz si Krissy!' And then he said: 'Game ako diyan!'" she narrated.

"That's it, Boy. I do not have his number, he does not have my number. I have never seen him again since that time. We barely know each other. Biniro ko lang siya na sa 2016, maganda kaming tandem. Hindi ko alam kung saan nanggagaling ang balita na iyan kasi iyan talaga, sobrang imbento," she said.

"And again, Boy, he's married, he has twins. I also know what it's like na ma-tsimis ang asawa mo na hindi namamatay ang tsismis," she said.

"Maawa tayo sa asawa niya, maawa tayo sa pamilya niya, and please, maawa kayo sa akin at sa mga kapatid ko. Kasi the last thing I want is to be accused of being a homewrecker," she added.

Binay: Not yet time

Meanwhile, regarding Binay, Kris said that the Makati mayor is not wooing her.

"Kaklaruhin ko po: Hindi siya nanliligaw sa akin. Pero matalik ko siyang kaibigan," she told Abunda.

However, she admitted that among all the people being linked to her, Binay is "the only one I've been communicating with."

"Nakilala ko siya when I was losing my mother. Nakilala niya ako when he was losing his wife. In the span of that one year, both our lives have changed so much," she said.

Binay's wife, Kennely Ann, died after going through a difficult pregnancy, just days after the death of former President Corazon Aquino in August last year.

"He's been good to me. A true friend. Kung tatanungin niyo ako, nasa kanya ang qualities that I admire in a man. He's smart, he's hardworking, he's responsible, he has accomplishments of his own. Mapagmahal siya sa pamilya niya, mapagkakatiwalaan siya," she added.

"Ang pinakaimportante, kapag si Josh at si Bimby well-adjusted na sa situation, and if Junjun were to say, 'Kris, gusto mo ba mag-dinner?', I'd say yes. Why? Dahil alam ko na 'di niya ako lolokohin," she said.

"He knows, and I know, that now is not the right time," she added.

First show without mom Cory

Later, when asked about her mother, Aquino became emotional.

"[She would say,] Good luck about tomorrow. Kasi alam niya na that's what I love the most, and alam niya how much joy ang maibibigay ko sa mga tao, and alam niya na I'm at a good place in my life now - mature enough ako na pahahalagahan ko talaga iyan - at aalagaan ko kasi napakalaking biyaya nito," she said.

"This is the first big show that I'll be launching na wala na ang mommy ko. She was my biggest fan, my biggest cheerleader, and nakabangon ako ng ilang beses dahil andoon ang mom ko," Kris said.

She also clarified her TV comeback.

"Ang sinabi ko po is that it's very difficult to be in a show where you give opinions, because whatever opinion I make will be a reflection on the President, because he's my brother," she said.

Kris said she preferred to have a game show instead.

"I've always said I would love to do a gameshow kasi naman hindi kontrobersyal," she said.

"I'm so excited to have a game [show] again," she added.

The exclusive interview with Abunda came after she arrived from a 3-week vacation in the United States, with sons Joshua and James Jr., on Friday.

She granted an exclusive interview to her close friend and manager Boy Abunda at the airport's presidential lounge.

According to an ABS-CBN News insider, Kris answered all the controversies hounding her including the status of her relationship with James.
