Shoplifting case of Ai Ai's son resolved
MANILA, Philippines – Four years since she filed the complaint, actress Ai Ai delas Alas said she now feels vindicated after the court decided in favor of her eldest son Sancho, who was accused of shoplifting from a convenience store in Manila last December 2007.

Delas Alas sued Mini Stop employee Melvin Buceta last May 30, 2008 for allegedly abusing her son physically after he supposedly caught Sancho shoplifting. Sancho denied the incident.
In a decision released last July 30, the court found Buceta guilty of violating Article VI Section 10 of Republic Act 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law.
Delas Alas admitted she was really hurt over some comments thrown at her son during the peak of their ordeal.
The actress, however, said she is thankful that it's over now.
As for Sancho, he said he is happy that the court favored him.
Sancho said he is fortunate to have a supportive mom who never left his side.
“Ma, thank you kasi sinamahan niya ako lumaban hanggang dulo.
