MANILA - Zaijan Jaranilla, more popularly known as Santino in ABS-CBN's hit teleserye "May Bukas Pa", said he is thrilled to work with the King of Comedy Dolphy for the first time.
 
"Masaya po ako kasi makaka-trabaho ko na po ang King of Comedy, si Tito Dolphy," Jaranilla told abs-cbnNEWS.com.

Jaranilla said he first met Dolphy in a birthday party and was instantly mesmerized by the Comedy King. He said he has much to learn from the veteran thespian including how to deliver a joke.

The child star vowed that he will do everything to make Dolphy happy during the Comedy King's guest stint on the hit show. "Ang gagawin ko po para maging saya ang taping namin ay papatawanin ko siya," Jaranilla said.

Dolphy, meanwhile, only had kind words for the young star.

“Napapanood ko ito eh. Hanga nga ako kay Zaijian dahil magaling talagang bumitaw ng mga linya niya. Ni-hindi nabubulol. Honored ako na makasama ako sa ganitong klaseng serye. Bihira na lang kasi ang mga ganitong klaseng kwento na ipinapalabas sa telebisyon. Nakaka-taba ng puso na napili ako bilang guest.”

Dolphy will give life to the character of Pilo, who is the father of Moy (Vhong Navarro). Pilo wants a simple life while Moy is ambitious. Because of his age, Pilo agrees to live in the home for the aged while Moy decides to pursue his dreams. A crisis in Moy's life, however, makes Pilo question himself and if he did right by his son.
