MANILA - Actress-host Mariel Rodriguez, or Maria Erlinda Lucille Termulo in real life, started her career as a commercial model and endorser.

Rodriguez, who signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN in 2005, became popular after joining noontime show “Wowowee.” Aside from 'Wowowee," she is also hosting "Entertainment Live" and hit reality show “Pinoy Big Brother.”

Rodriguez is also an actress. She was the lead star of television show “Komiks Presents: Mars Ravelo's Varga.”  She is currently part of ABS-CBN's afternoon series “Precious Heart Romances Presents: Bud Brothers” where she is teamed up with actor Rafael Rosell.

Rodriguez is dating Zanjoe Marudo. She is celebrating her 25th birthday today, August 10.
