Award-winning actress Alessandra de Rossi will soon be back at her mother network ABS-CBN.

Reports reaching abs-cbnNEWS.com say that De Rossi, a Star Magic alumna, will be playing a special role for ABS-CBN's upcoming television series "I Love Betty La Fea" with actress Bea Alonzo as Betty.

De Rossi shared her excitment over her decision to transfer to ABS-CBN after reports surfaced that she refused to be part of GMA-7's series "La Lola" because of her recent tiff with actress Rhian Ramos, one of the lead stars of the series.

The actress is also excited about other projects that the Kapamilya network has lined up for her.
 
Alessandra Schiavone De Rossi or simply Alex is an Italian-Filipino actress and the younger sister of actress Assunta De Rossi.

Her career gained ground with different drama films including the critically-acclaimed "Mga Munting Tining (Small Voices)" and "Homecoming."

In 2005, De Rossi gained even more popularity when she portrayed  "Valentina," the villainess of the fantaserye "Darna."

De Rossi’s latest movie was the Singaporean-based horror film "The Maid", a box office hit both locally and in neighbouring Asian countries.
