MANILA - Actress KC Concepcion once again addressed the long-standing rumor that she is the real mother of younger siblings Miel and Miguel.

In a press conference for hit series "Ikaw Lamang" onTuesday, Concepcion reiterated that these rumors are not true.

"Yung buntis issue since 18 years old ako.

Concepcion admitted she felt bad about these rumors, especially since it affects her family.

Concepcion said she is not the type who addresses rumors, but she believes it's time to set the record straight.

"I don't like having to clear up rumors that really are just rumors but just for the record hindi po talaga nangyari," Concepcion said.

In 2012, Concepcion's mother Sharon Cuneta already denied that her eldest daughter is the real mother of youngest daughter Miel and adopted son Miguel.

'Dyesebel' issue

In the interview, Concepcion also denied she left for the US after she was not given the role of Dyesebel, which was given to Anne Curtis.

"Yung trip ko po to the States was really for me, three years in the making. And they gave me the go-signal so parang nagkataon lumabas 'yung 'Dyesebel.' People were asking me on Twitter. Kasi may lumalabas ding publicity na is she playing Dyesebel? So hindi din po sa amin nanggaling 'yung speculations at ang daming nagtatanong sa Twitter," she said.

"I just felt the need to clear it up na hindi talaga.
