Sunshine Cruz thanks fans their support
MANILA -- Actress Sunshine Cruz took microblogging site Twitter to thank her fans for their support after she decided to file cases against her estranged husband Cesar Montano.
Cruz also addressed a netizen's comment that she only filed the complaint to seek publicity.
"Try to read before reacting. Relax ka lang. Good morning!" Cruz tweeted.

On Tuesday, Cruz filed a case against Montano for allegedly violating Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act.
The actress claims Montano has committed -- and still continues to commit -- acts of violence and verbal abuse against her and her three daughters.
Cruz described Montano as "a very domineering, philandering husband that demanded full submission and obedience" from her.
"Gaya ng kinwento ni Sunshine sa kanyang affidavit na sinampa kahapon sa piskalya ng Quezon City ginamitan siya ng dahas, force, violence and intimidation and committed rape against her," Atty. Bonifacio Alentajan, Cruz's lawyer, said on Wednesday in an interview with dzMM.
