MANILA, Philippines - Three days after she left the country, talk in showbizlandia is rife that actress-host Mariel Rodriguez has married action star Robin Padilla in India.

According to Rodriguez's manager, TV host Boy Abunda, Mariel and Robin are indeed together in India. He added, however, that he doubts if the two have already said their wedding vows.

"Hindi ko alam yon, hindi ko alam. I just arrived here in Boracay. They are in India, I confirm that but getting married in India that I can't tell. I just got a text message from her last night saying that she's good, she's okay," he told abs-cbnNEWS.com.

He added: "Wala pang confirmation as far as I'm concerned. So my reaction is that I doubt it."

Padilla earlier asked for Rodriguez's hand in marriage during a live interview on "Entertainment Live." The actress also showed off a diamond ring that she got from Padilla.

“Umaapaw ang pag-ibig sa puso ko. Ako, hindi ako nagsisinungaling. Sagutin mo ako, [o] hindi, itago mo yang singsing. Anumang mangyari, itago mo iyan. Sa iyo iyan. Hindi ako nagsinungaling sa iyo, Mariel. Mahal kita,” Padilla confessed.

Ten days after the interview, Rodriguez took an “indefinite leave” from ABS-CBN's daily noontime show "Pilipinas Win na Win" to be with her new sweetheart.

"Hindi ko alam. I really don't know. It can be a week, it can be a month, or whatever. Babalik ako, promise. Thank you so much and be happy for me," she said before leaving the country.
