MANILA - Singer-actress Karylle is flattered that fellow ABS-CBN star Coco Martin has a crush on her.

"Napa-flattered siyempre kasi siya lang naman ang umamin," Karylle told abs-cbnNEWS.com during the press conference of Karylle's newest project "Dahil May Isang Ikaw," which will premiere on August 24.

"Hindi ko naman sinasabi na sobrang serious or anything. Pero hindi ba sa babae flaterring yong makarinig ka ng ganoon," she said.

Martin reportedly expressed interest in wooing Karylle during an ABS-CBN press launch last August 13 at the NBC tent.

Karylle said she met Martin during the preview of "Kinatay", the country's main bet at the recent Cannes Film Festival.

The actress said she aspires to reach Martin's level as a highly-acclaimed actor. The actress had nothing but praises for the indie film actor, who has starred in films like "Masahista", "Jay", and "Serbis."

"Hindi naman niya sinasabing manliligaw. Kasi nanood ako ng movie niya 'yong 'Kinatay.' Nagpa-picture ako sa kanya. Hindi ba nanalo si direk Brillante sa Cannes? Na-excite kasi ako sa movie. It's a very big deal. As an actress, isa 'yon sa gusto kong marating," Karylle said.

"Ang masasabi ko lang ay ang galing galing niya sa 'Jay' at 'Kinatay' 'yon ang napanood ko at saka sa 'Tayong Dalawa'," she added.

Asked if she would consider having a relationship with Martin, Karylle said: "Hindi ko naman siya kilala. Siyempre ngayon ayaw kong masabi kung hindi ko pa nakikilala ang tao."

However, when it comes to possibly doing a film project with Martin, the actress has no second thoughts.

Currently, Karylle is busy taping for "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" while Martin is equally busy with ABS-CBN's hit television series "Tayong Dalawa" where he plays "Ramon."
