MANILA, Philippines – Commedienne Melai Cantiveros revealed it’s better for her and former boyfriend Jason Francisco to save their friendship first instead of getting back together again.

Francisco recently admitted on “Kris TV” that he is planning to win Cantiveros back.

“Parang hindi naman 'yun totoo, parang char-char lang 'yun. I-save muna yung friendship namin, huwag muna 'yung magkabalikan. Next time na lang, next decade,” Cantiveros said.

The commedienne said Francisco is also not making any moves to woo her.

“Sabi niya gusto niya makipagbalikan, wala naman siyang pagpaparamdam. At saka mahiya siya magparamdam kasi naghiwalay kami tapos nagkabalikan kami kagad. Ano ba 'yun?” she said.

Meanwhile, Cantiveros denied that the reason she does not want to be with Francisco again is because someone is already courting her.

“Uy wala! Walang nanliligaw,” she said.

While they have already separated, Cantiveros clarified that she still cares for Francisco.
