MANILA – John Lloyd Cruz has confirmed that he is regularly communicating with former girlfriend Liz Uy again.

Cruz, however, said he sees nothing wrong if he sends Uy text messages or gives her a phone call.

He told “The Buzz:” “Madalas pa kaming magkausap ni Liz. So, kung sinasabi ni Ms Kris [Aquino] na tumatawag ako o nagte-text ako, totoo iyon. Alam mo ang mga taong special sa’yo hindi naman nawawala iyon.”

The “In My Life” star was referring to Aquino’s revelation last week saying that the actor would regularly call the fashion magazine editor especially after reports about her going out on a date with a model came out.

He is also not discounting the possibility that he and Uy might get back in each other’s arms again.

“Pwede kong sabihin ngayon na, ‘wala na, wala ng chance, wala ng pag-asa.’ Sino ako para malaman kung anong mangyayari bukas? [Ang] masha-share ko lang is iyong nangyayari ngayon... kung pwede siya, pwede ako, we get together,” he said.

Right now, the actor said he is “very much single.”
