Amid controversy, James Yap flies to US
LOS ANGELES, California - James Yap, the estranged husband of Kris Aquino, has arrived here for a much needed break.
Yap, PBA Fiesta Conference Most Valuable Player, and his companions arrived at Los Angeles International Airport Sunday night.
Yap’s group was picked up by a rental car shuttle at the airport.
The basketball player said he will spend the next 2 weeks in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
He said he plans to relax during this trip. The only specific destination he mentioned was Universal Studios.

He also thanked his fans in the United States for their continued support.
Last Friday, Yap had his first visit with Baby James under the new court rulings. He said Aquino was present at their meeting, and he enjoyed his time with their 3-year-old son.
“Siyempre masaya, happy ako dahil nakita ko siya,” he said.
In a separate interview, Yap’s teammate, KG Canaleta, shared that they plan to go around and do some sightseeing. They might also visit their relatives in the US.
“Mamasyal lang naman kami…. Wala naman kaming gagawin na masama,” he said.
He and Yap are expected to be back in the country by the first week of September.
Meawhile, Canaleta declined to comment when asked about Yap's recent visit to his 3-year-old son, saying he has yet to talk to his controversial teammate about it. -With a report from Ginger Conejero, ABS-CBN News

Kung talagang mahal ni James ang anak niya kay kris ( yong unang anak sorry nalang kasi hindi sikat ang nanay mo) sana ginamit niya ang time ngayon para talagang maka pag bonding silang dalawa.

You know what kind of a husband you have been. Own up to it. You say you miss your son? Why fly to the USA when you could have used this time to be with your son locally and still have your vacation. You are a liar, James. You said you did not have affairs, you said you did not know why you are facing annulment? Guess what, you can not fool everyone. Not Kris. There you go!
