MANILA, Philippines - Miss Philippines-Universe Maria Venus Raj arrived in Manila on Thursday morning, two days after the coronation night of the 59th Miss Universe in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 5'9" beauty from Camarines Sur was proclaimed 2010 Miss Universe 4th runner-up. She lost to Jimena Navarrete of Mexico.

Raj touched down at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) onboard Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight PR 107.

In a mini press conference at the NAIA, Raj thanked the Filipinos for supporting her.

She also appealed to the public not to take her much-talked-about "major, major" phrase against her. "Major, major" was part of her response during the question and answer portion.

Many were dismayed by Raj's answer when asked by an actor-judge to cite her one biggest mistake in life.

Raj's answer was: "You know what, sir, in my 22 years of existence I can say that there's nothing major, major problem that I've done in my life because I'm very confident with my family, with the love that they are giving to me. So thank you so much that I'm here. Thank you, thank you so much!"

Raj, who was very excited about her return to the country, was also surprised when she received a bracelet and necklace as surprise gifts from the flight crew of PAL.
