What Anne Curtis thinks of Sam Concepcion
MANILA – “Whatever makes her happy.”
This was the meaningful statement of Anne Curtis when asked if she approves of her younger sister’s relationship with singer-actor Sam Concepcion.
This comes months after Curtis and Concepcion got embroiled in a controversy where the “The Gifted” actress supposedly confronted the singer-actor during the birthday celebration of Vice Ganda at a high-end bar.
In an interview with “The Buzz” which aired on Sunday, Curtis explained that she is only after the happiness of her sister, rising star Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
“Whatever makes someone happy, you can’t do anything about it. So for me, kung saan siya masaya, doon ako,” she said.
Curtis, however, admitted that just like any other older sister, she still does not want Jasmine to be in a relationship.
“Of course, kahit sino namang ate, ayaw munang mag-boyfriend 'yung baby sister. You’d like to protect her as much as you can or if ever, you’d like someone who really values her worth. 'Yun lang ang hanap ko sa isang lalaki,” she said.
When directly asked if she does not like Concepcion for Jasmine, Curtis said: “Basta ako, whatever makes her happy.”
According to Curtis, she and Concepcion are not close but they do greet each other if ever their paths cross.
But asked if Concepcion is exerting effort to also reach out to their family, Curtis said: “I don’t know. No comment. No comment na lang.”
