Zanjoe still enjoys life; takes the lead

Actor-model Zanjoe Marudo said that he still enjoying life despite of having hectic schedules fulfilling his showbiz commitments.
The Star Magic talent said that he’s really happy with all the blessings that he’s been getting and that he's working hard to secure his future and that of his family.
“Future ko muna saka ng pamilya ko… lahat gusto ko kapag may dumarating na project gagawin ko talaga kahit drama, comedy o action kung kya ng schedule… so walang problema doon,” Marudo said.
Zanjoe who started his career as ramp model has turned into one of the most sought-after actors in the country and topbills several television and movie projects.
Right now, Marudo is one of the three leading men of Anne Curtis in ABS-CBN’s television series “Dyosa.” In the said series, he plays Mars, the illustrator who will fall in love with Josephine (Curtis).
He is also one of the lead stars of “Varga” where he portrays the character of James, the love interest of Varga (Mariel Rodriguez).
Very soon, Marudo will also be seen in “Florinda” as Archie the love interest of Roxanne Guinoo.
Marudo said that right now his priorities in life is the welfare of his immediate family.
“Kasi hindi kami magkakasama, ang daddy ko nasa States, mommy ko nandito at iba kong kapatid, so sa aming tatlong magkakapatid ako iyong pinaka-okay o stable ang trabaho so ako iyon medyo tumutulong sa amin talaga.
“Hindi naman bread winner pero tulong-tulong kaming magkakapatid na tatlo, dalawa kaming lalaki at isang babae ang nandito. Iyong tatlong bata nasa states,” Marudo explains.
The actor who is the real-life sweetheart of Rodriguez said that though he’s happily in love he’s still not yet thinking of getting married.
“Sobra, malabo pa iyan. Unang-una kailangan pa namin ng bahay para sa nanay ko, para sa akin. Gusto ko ding magkaroon ng sariling bahay ko,” Marudo told abs-cbnNEWS.com in an interview.
Marudo said that he's saving up portions of all the income he's getting. "May gastos din pero iyong luho hindi masyado,” Marudo said.
Marudo’s career rocketed when he joined reality show Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Season 1. After that he appeared on different shows like “Super Inggo,” “Kokey,” and sitcom “Aalog-Alog.”
He also starred in the movie “You Got Me” with Sam Milby and Toni Gonzaga.
In the 2008 Golden Screen awards, Marudo was nominated in the category of Breakthrough Performance by an Actor for the short film “Altar.”
The versatile Zanjoe is himself to be a good actor while also hosting ang performing for the ASAP’08 all-male-group Coverboys.
Marudo is also excited as he will be part of the network’s upcoming shows like “Parekoy,” and “The Wedding.
He is also set to do a movie with actress-comedienne Pokwang, Ruffa Gutierrez and senator-actor Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr.
