MANILA - Host-actor Edu Manzano said he is not leaving ABS-CBN's weekly game show "Pilipinas, GAME KNB?"

Rumors that he was going to leave the show started when he resigned from his post as head of the Optical Media Board (OMB) and begged off from the network's morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda."

In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Manzano stressed that he has no plans of leaving the hit game show "GAME KNB?" Manzano said he will only stop hosting the show if he feels that he isn't needed.

"Maliban na lang kung ayaw na nila sa akin and they will ask me to go. But other than [that], I want to stay with 'GAME KNB?'" he said.

He also said that he is still undecided on whether he will run for senator in the 2010 polls. After being the OMB chairman for 5 years, he said various people have been encouraging him to join politics but he is still contemplating the issue.

"No. I love 'GAME KNB?' You know kung saka-sakali mang gusto kong pasukin ang politika, I have to say goodbye to the show. I don't think I'm ready yet," Manzano said.

In a recent Pulse Asia Survey, Manzano ranked 11th in the list of top 12 preferred senators. According to the survey, 34.9% of respondents would vote for him in the 2010 polls, should he run.

In March, Pulse Asia survey results also showed that Manzano could rank as the top 6th to 12th senator if elections were held then. Report by Reyma Buan-Deveza, abs-cbnNEWS.com.
