MANILA - Actress-model Isabelle Abiera (or Isabelle Abiera Collins in real life) turned 17 today.

Abiera, a member of ABS-CBN's Star Magic, began modeling at the young age of 10 and had appeared in various magazines. She was discovered by a talent scout when she accidentally walked into a shop while a TV shoot was ongoing.

After a year, Abiera tried out for Star Magic and eventually became part of Star Magic Batch 15.

Abiera was part of ABS-CBN's defunct youth-oriented show "Abt Ur Luv" and "Astigs" last year.
