Maricar Reyes grateful to fans, ABS-CBN
MANILA – Actress-model Maricar Reyes has surprised many guests as she graced the annual Star Magic ball Sunday night at the Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City.
Reyes, who got involved in the Hayden Kho's sex video scandal, went to the event for the first time. The actress, who came without a date, was wearing a gown made by Czarina Villa.
"[I’m] very excited to be here to mingle with other Star Magic talents. And I'm happy to be able to meet everyone outside work," Reyes told reporters.

She admitted that it was “nerve-wracking” to be attending the formal event “but it’s a nice experience, I think.”
The actress, who still refused to talk about the scandal, also thanked ABS-CBN and her fans for not abandoning her at the height of the controversy.
"I feel so thankful talaga for giving me a chance… and that they (ABS-CBN and her fans) believe in me," Reyes said.
"It's very touchy each time I hear words of support because, during hard times and there are people who support you, there's nothing like it talaga. That's why I’m so thankful," she added.
Reyes made special appearances in hit television series "I Love Betty La Fea" and "May Bukas Pa." Her first lead role was in "Your Song Presents: Gaano Kita Kamahal" where she worked alongside Sid Lucero and Jodi Sta. Maria. -With a report from ANC
