MANILA, Philippines – “Idol” co-stars Sam Milby and Coco Martin are being romantically linked to their leading lady, Sarah Geronimo, as the much awaited musical-serye of ABS-CBN nears its play date.

In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Milby clarified that he is not courting the actress. He, however, admitted that he wants Geronimo to become his close friend to make their working relationship more comfortable.

“Idol” is Milby and Geronimo’s first television project together.

On the other hand, Martin declined to talk about the issue, saying the rumor might affect his working relationship with Geronimo.

Meanwhile, Geromino only has good words for both leading men.

“Nakakusap ko na rin si Sam magkaibigan na rin kami. Alam ko kung gaano siya kabuting tao. Thankful ako na nagkaroon kami ng ganitong chance na magkatrabaho kami dito isang napakagandang proyekto,” Geronimo said of Milby.

When asked about her working relationship with Martin, she said: “Masaya rin po katrabaho si Coco at minsan nga ang tawag ko sa kanya Direk Co kasi napaka-professional. Para siyang direktor."
