Bea Alonzo is MTRCB TV Awards' best actress
MANILA - Several ABS-CBN talents and shows won prizes in the first MTRCB (Movie Television Review and Classification Board) TV Awards held Friday night.
Ces Orena-Drilon's new show "I Survived" won an award for best reality show while ABS-CBN's "Sineskwela" was adjudged best educational show.
Top-rating primetime teleserye "May Bukas Pa" won a special recognition for promoting moral values while Studio 23's youth-oriented talk show "Y Speak" was also recognized for promoting education for the marginalized.
ABS-CBN's primetime show "Kahit Isang Saglit" won best teleserye while actress Bea Alonzo won the best actress award for her role in "I Love Betty La Fea."
Actor Edu Manzano won the best male host, seasoned actress Gloria Romero won a lifetime achievement award while Ryan Agoncillo was named the Male Star of the Night.
