James Yap returns to Manila after 2-week break

MANILA, Philippines – James Yap was mum on his plan of action regarding the nullification of marriage petition filed by Kris Aquino last month.
Yap refused to talk about the matter when he arrived Sunday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport from Los Angeles, California.
He said he will be able to comment on the issue after he speaks with his lawyers on Monday.
Judge Cristina Sulit of the Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 140 has instructed the couple to refrain from talking about the case in public as the court hears the actress-television host’s petition.
The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) superstar flew to the US amid the controversy regarding his 5-year marriage to Aquino.
He had a two-week vacation in the US along with B-MEG Derby Ace teammates KG Canaleta and Rico Maierhofer.
Yap related that he enjoyed his vacation. He also said he was able to ponder on the trials he is currently experiencing.
He also shared that he bought many gifts for his and Aquino’s son, 3-year-old Baby James. He added that he is excited to see his son.
Aquino, meanwhile, on Sunday disputed reports that she is not allowing Yap to see their son despite a court decision giving the PBA player visitation rights.
During her medical mission in Pasay City, Aquino said arrangements have already been made with regard to the issue.
She said Baby James will spend time with his father every Wednesday and Thursday. – With a report from Ginger Conejero, ABS-CBN News
