‘Ping Lacson apologizes to Kris’
MANILA – A day after telling Kris Aquino to lay off her 49-year-old brother’s love life, Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson indirectly apologized to “The Buzz” host via a text message.
Reading a text message forwarded by actress Jodi Sta. Maria, Lacson’s daughter-in-law, Kris said the senator admitted that it was improper of him “to comment on what seems to be a family affair.”
“I said what I had to say out of caring concern for Shalani who’s like a daughter to me. Be that as it may, please say sorry to Kris for me,” Kris said quoting Lacson’s text message to Sta. Maria.
Lacson was referring to Valenzuela City Councilor Shalani Soledad who is the girlfriend of Kris’ older brother, Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
Lacson was reacting to Kris’ statement that she wanted her older brother to stay single. Later, however, Kris retracted her statement, vowing that she would no longer meddle with his love live.
According to the report of The Philippine Star, Lacson said he pitied Soledad when he heard the comment of Noynoy’s youngest sister.
“Lay off your brother’s lovelife because he is 49, and not 19 years old,” the newspaper quoted Lacson.
On Sunday, Kris said it is not within her capacity to dictate on her brother. She said people misunderstood her action but she clarified that she did it “out of love.”
“Kay Shalani, I’ve never said anything bad about you…. Iyong kay ‘Noy kung saan siya liligaya, alam niya doon ako. Kung anong mga pangarap niya sa buhay, alam niya nandoon din ako,” Kris said.
She said she made several promises to their mom, former president Corazon Aquino, before she passed away. Some of these promises, she said, are about her brother's welfare.
Noynoy also did the same especially with regard to her and cager James Yap's marriage, Kris said.
“Binilin po ako at James ng mom kay ‘Noy. We really went through a lot of problems last Holy Week. It was ‘Noy who went out of his way na kausapin si James without my knowledge. This week ko lang nalaman kay ‘Noy iyon,” she said.
She added: “Ang difference nga po namin is ‘Noy is very private… I am exceptionally public pero natututo din naman ako…. Kay senator Lacson, peace, bati na tayo.” -With a report from Aurea Calica, The Philippine Star

Kris Aquino is STUPID
I've been watching SNN for sometime and since she came back after Pres. Cory's death. I cannot understand why Noynoy is looking after her son Josh. I thought as a mother she should be looking after her son. Now, Noynoy wants to serve his country like his parents did, Kris wants to make a condition to Noynoy that if he wants run for presidency he should not get married and stay single. Forget totally his lovelife. Noynoy is already 49 years old.Hindi niya dapat diktahan ang kapatid niya lalo na na nakakatanda ito sa kanya. I agree with Sen. Ping Lacson, Kris should leave her brother alone. Hindi pa nga presidente si Noynoy, lumalabas na ang totoong kulay ni Kris. I just wish na hindi muna tumakbo si Noynoy as a president and let Mar Roxas run for it and be Noynoy as his vice. Masyadong pakialemra si Kris. Ngayon pa lang nakikialam na siya sa affair ng nakakatanda niyang kapatid. Mas lalo siguro kung nasa puwesto naito. Kris you ruin your brother's ambition and put a lot of dirt in your name. That is what I call STUPID.
Public or Private
When Kris repeatedly ask her brother Senator Aquino to please stay single does she have something against his GF or he is telling the country that his brother can not handle his own affair? Kris made this issue public therefore the public have the right to give theer opinion and therefore Senator Lacson apology is not in order. Kris let your brother be a man, let him make his own decision for god sake he is a senator, how can he run the country if his baby sister have to babysit him.
Kris is not like a mongoloid, only stupid!
Please do not insult mongoloid people by saying Kris Aquino is like them. They are unfortunate human beings, it's not their fault that they are born like that.
Kris on the other hand, is just plain idiot. Opening her big mouth without thinking of the consequences of her actions. She's always like this, tactless and she says, she has learned something? Pleasee! Now, when Lacson defended Noynoy's gf, instead of admitting her fault, she justified that by saying, she did it out of love? That's pathetic..if she loves her brother, then she should respect him and shut her big mouth about it. She just wants attention because she's not getting it anymore since her mother died. The focus of the media is on her brother and the gf.
I think, Kris is a liability to her brother's ambition, definitely not an asset! Look at what she did in the past and what she keeps doing now, hurting the people she claims that she loves most...

No wonder he was "no reaction" whenever you break down in tears during your Mom's wake, you are having problems pala. You should follow your siblings good example, be private with your own life!
