Noynoy: Kris to leave my love life alone
MANILA – Actress-host Kris Aquino has promised Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III to keep her mouth shut when it comes to her older brother's personal life.
Noynoy, who is dating Valenzuela City Councilor Shalani Soledad, made this confirmation Tuesday as he also disclosed that his youngest sister even apologized to him for meddling in his love life.
Amid calls for Noynoy to become the Liberal Party's standard bearer in 2010 elections, Kris declared in her entertainment show, “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon,” that she wanted her brother to stay single if he decided to run for president.
This statement drew various reactions. Sen. Panfilo Lacson, for one, gave Kris his unsolicited advice, which was to lay off her 49-year-old brother’s love life. Soledad is reportedly a former staff of Lacson.
Kris later withdrew her statement, while Lacson apologized to the television host.
When asked to comment on Lacson’s remark, meanwhile, Noynoy merely shrugged off the issue, saying that it was just a friendly advice. -Report from Maricar Bautista, ABS-CBN News

The best opposition tandem is Mar Roxas for Pres and Noynoy Aquino for Vice Pres. Mar Roxas is stronger to fight the palace group but need Noynoy for vice to win. Opposition please no division this time let us all be behind these pair. Noynoy have not done enough for the country and still have issues in land reform while Mar have done soo much for the people and have no skeleton in his closet, the enemies could only fabicate issue against Mar Roxas but I hope this time the voters will be smarter. Kris Aquino, please support your brother and make all your comments private, you could be your brothers weakness if you don't think twice before saying anything to the media or on air. I know you always speak from the heart and there is no lying on you but sometimes the way you say things can be taken the other way easily especially in politics. More power to you Mar/Noy.
