Annabelle Rama lashes out at Gary V’s wife
MANILA, Philippines – Angeli Pangilinan, the wife of Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, is now the target of talent manager Annabelle Rama’s verbal assault.
According to reports, Rama got irked after Pangilinan allegedly gave an unsolicited advice to her daughter, actress-television host Ruffa Gutierrez. Pangilinan was supposed to have advised Gutierrez to avoid cosmetic procedures.
Gutierrez reportedly got offended by Pangilinan’s statement, and told Rama about it.
Rama is said to have confronted Pangilinan when they met during Ogie Alcasid’s birthday party on August 27. Reports said Rama told Pangilinan she is ugly.
Rama’s attacks reportedly hurt Valenciano.
In her Twitter account, Rama maintained that Valenciano should not get mad at her.
“Nabasa ko sa newspapers kahapon na galit daw sa akin si Gary V., Sana mabasa ni Gary itong tweet ko. Dapat magalit siya sa asawa niyang chismosa at mahilig makialam sa buhay ng ibang tao,” Rama tweeted.
She, however, said she does not want to prolong the rift because she has a lot of respect for Valenciano.
During his music video shoot on Wednesday, Valenciano confessed that he indeed got upset because of the incident.
However, he clarified that he does not hold any ill feelings toward Rama. “We have no hate for her. We love her family,” Valenciano said.
Valenciano said he will give Rama a big hug when their paths cross again.
Gutierrez also extended her love and friendship to the Valenciano family. According to her, it is just normal between close families to have some misunderstandings at times.
“I extend my love, peace and sincere friendship to Tito Gary and his family. I have the utmost respect for him, the Valencianos and Pangilinans. Misunderstandings can happen to even the closest of friends. Tita Angeli and I have gone a long way and I pray that this, too, shall pass. Love and peace for all,” Guttierez said in a text message to ABS-CBN News.
