Kris praises PNoy for 'honesty, courage'
MANILA, Philippines – Television host-actress and presidential sister Kris Aquino on Thursday lauded her brother as a panel of TV news anchors grilled President Aquino in a televised no-holds-barred interview about the August 23 hostage crisis.
“Watching PNoy now in Harapan. I admire my brother's honesty & courage to accept responsibility,” Kris tweeted Thursday.
The TV host-actress expressed her admiration as 3 news anchors from major networks - ABS-CBN, GMA 7 and TV 5 – hurled questions at President Aquino about the hostage drama that resulted in the deaths of 8 Hong Kong tourists at the Quirino Grandstand.
The interview was conducted by Mel Tiangco of GMA 7, Ted Failon of ABS-CBN and Paolo Bediones of TV-5.
The Aquino administration and the Philippine police have been heavily criticized for their handling of the bloody hostage crisis.
Last week, the President took responsibility for “everything that has transpired.” The President said at the end of the day, he was responsible for everything that happened.
It would be recalled that Kris visited the survivors in a hospital a day after the incident.

Very much like KRIS before
To some extent and of course for very different issues and concerns, PNOY reminds me of KRIS honesty and courage to face the public on national TV and because of these qualities, she always gained the public sympathy. This is inspite of her indiscretions, wrong decisions and loose moral values. The honesty and courageousness were not in sight when she talked about her failed marriage with James Yap. She was lying and full of pretensions. It's obvious that she was the one at fault yet she was pointing fingers to her husband.I am hoping PNOY will always be honest and transparent no matter what the situations and problems are for him not to loose his credibility during his term of office as President. After all we are talking of the welfare of the entire nation here and not only his sister's past, present and future loves.

Give us a break Kris, you're always in the limelight, either stealing moments away from ur brother but oh yeah, u have the right to comment on him because if NOT of your millions, he cannot be a President.
