MANILA - Actor Zanjoe Marudo admitted that he gets tired from his heavy workload, but he insists that he has nothing to complain about.

Marudo is now one of the hottest leading men in showbiz, and has a slew of projects that came one after the other. As a normal human being, he said, working every day is physically tiring but the work keeps him happy.

"Nakakapagod talaga, physically nakakapagod siya kasi nga puyatan. Pero hindi ko naman hinihindian at grateful na hindi ako nawawalan ng trabaho since pumasok ako sa ABS-CBN," Marudo told "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon."

Aside from being part of ABS-CBN's gag show "Banana Split", he is also busy  taping for upcoming Philippine TV remake of hit Korean series "Lovers in Paris" with Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion as the lead stars.

In "Lovers In Paris," which premieres September 28, Marudo plays the role of "Martin", a bad boy who will fall for "Vivian", played by Concepcion.

Portraying Martin's moodiness throughout the film was challenging for Marudo, who said he wasn't used to the spectrum of negative emotions.

"Napakalalim noong character noong Martin. First time kong gumawa ng ganoong character na halos buong show ay malungkot siya na wala siyang ibang naramdaman kung hindi sakit, selos at pagmamahal," he said.

Marudo is currently dating host-actress Mariel Rodriguez. He also plays a part in the TV series "Florinda."
