Cayzer not in Top 12 of 'X Factor Australia'
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) -- Former Kapamilya talent Chris Cayzer failed to make the Top 12 of "The X Factor Australia."

His mentor, "Australian Idol" winner Guy Sebastian, passed on the Filipino-Australian musician as he selected his three contestants for the Over-25 category on Wednesday's episode.
Sebastian has never been impressed with Cayzer since he auditioned for the show. He was the only one who voted against Cayzer during the audition rounds, even if the Fil-Australian received a standing ovation from Mel B for his rendition of Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.”
Sebastian admitted he wasn't "blown away" by Cayzer's audition. "I like you but if you want to be a superstar, you would have to grow a lot," he said at the time.
For the group round during Super Bootcamp, when Cayzer’s ensemble was given New Radical's "You Get What You Give," Sebastian was still unimpressed.
“I didn't get Chris. There's a certain ceiling and Chris can't get past it. He doesn't have the X factor,” Sebastian said during the judges' huddle.
"It's always been awkward when you say to somebody and they end up in your category. But for the person, it's harder for them because they have to prove me wrong," Sebastian said on Monday’s episode, when it was revealed that he would be mentoring the Over-25s.
Sebastian did acknowledge that Cayzer was "charming" when the Fil-Australian sang Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" for special guest mentor Alicia Keys on Tuesday.
And on Wednesday, Sebastian tweeted: "This is heartbreaking. I can't watch the no's. especially cause everyone at this stage is talented."
Despite his seeming change of heart, Sebastian apparently did not change his mind about Cayzer when he didn't put him through the Top 12.
Instead, Sebastian picked Nathaniel Willemse, Justin Standley and Samantha Jade.
Some fans disagreed with the decision.
"Guy Sebastian I think you made a mistake Chris Cayzer should have made it through!" tweeted @1DAussie Guy.
"I disagree with sending Chris Cayzer home," said Thomas Bleach on Twitter.
"Guy Sebastian, you should've put Chris Cayzer through," said Georgia Clooney.
"Does Guy Sebastian have any f****ing idea? Can not believe he just sent Chris Cayzer home! New judge please!" said Matthew Cossey.
Even though his journey on the show proved to be short, Cayzer still thanked his fans via his official Twitter account.
"Hey guys thanks for the support, X-Factor AU was so much fun. If anyone disagrees you can tweet @guysebastian :p lol peace!" Cayzer said.
