International performer and ABS-CBN talent Billy Crawford admitted that he is now getting closer to singer Nikki Gil.

Crawford said that he is spending more time with her.

"I'm getting to know her, nagde-date na kami," Crawford gladly said.

Before Crawford's admission, there were reports that he and Gil were already seen going out together.

Reports said that the two became closer while working as hosts for ABS-CBN's "Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2".

Crawford even joked that it feels great to hug Gil. "Masarap siyang kayakap," Crawford said.

In a recent interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Gil also admitted that she and Crawford are good friends and they are getting to know each other.

"He is really a nice person... we go out, we hang out," she said.

Gil refused to answer when asked if Crawford is wooing her but shared that there were times that she went out with Crawford without their friends.

"We are getting to know each other... I mean because we work together so siyempre you want to know the people that you worked with," she said.

Gil said that she enjoys Crawford's company.

 On August 24th, during one of the gala nights of "Pinoy Dream Academy Little Dreamers", Crawford surprised Gil with a bouquet of flowers. From that night on, people could not help but comment on how sweet and close the two act when they are together.

Gil, who works for MYX and is a regular performer in ABS-CBN's entertainment show "ASAP '08" just finished taping for the upcoming series "Florinda" with Maricel Soriano. Crawford will be staying in the country till the end of October.

Billy Crawford or Billy Joe Crawford in real life, 26, is Filipino-American. His mother is Filipina.

Crawford became known around Europe and Asia with hit songs such as "When You Think About Me", "Never My Love", "Steamy Nights" and "Bright Lights."
