MANILA - KC Concepcion is happy to be paired with Piolo Pascual in her first ABS-CBN telerserye, “Lovers in Paris.”

She also admitted that she is a big admirer of Pascual, who she described as a superb actor and a good person.

She said: “Isa ako sa mga humahanga kay Piolo… Ang dami rin [na] I know na gustong maka-trabaho siya. So it's really a big, big blessing for me na sa kanya pa ako na-pair this time. And I'm really happy.”

Though “Lovers in Paris” is a huge challenge for Concepcion, she is thankful to have a helpful leading man who guides her and “teaches me by example.”

“It's good that everyday he's encouraging, he teaches me by example, I mean, maganda iyong professionalism niya. Very supportive siya sa mga eksena. Hindi siya maramot. It's good, very comfortable,” she said.

Concepcion said she always runs to Pascual whenever she needs help in a particular scene.

“Everyday naman mayroon something na makukuha kay Piolo and it's good na matagal na rin siya dito sa business. Palagi akong nagtatanong sa kanya and he always answers things na parang isang teacher. Marami siyang alam from his experience,” she said.

She shared some of the important things she learned from the hunk actor.

“Everything from the most basic things like discipline sa time, discipline sa sarili mo. Kami, iyong produkto namin is ourselves, So, we really have to invest time. Sa well-being mo, sa sarili mo, sa outlook mo. And iyong pakikitungo sa ibang tao po. At iyong mga technical po like sa trabaho po namin,” she said.

When it comes to the status of their relationship, meanwhile, both Concepcion and Pascual avoided to discuss it in public.

Pascual has publicly admitted that he is courting his “Lovers in Paris” leading lady.
