Willie makes triumphant return to 'Wowowee'
MANILA – Six weeks after going on indefinite leave from the show, controversial TV host Willie Revillame returned to his top-rating noontime show “Wowowee” Monday to a grand “Will-come back” party.
Some fans and supporters and “Wowowee” staff wore red and white shirts with “We love you, Willie” and “Will-come back” messages.
When he emerged onstage, the audience cheered and applauded as they chanted his name. Revillame went around the studio to greet his supporters who reached out to hug and kiss him or even shake his hand.
Popular cosmetic surgeon Vicki Belo and her daughter, Cristalle Henares, and “Bench” owner Ben Chan were also in the audience. Revillame is the celebrity endorser of Belo Medical Group and clothing line Bench.
"Sa almost two months na wala ako, lumuluha ako. Lumuluha ako, nagdurugo ang puso ko dahil hindi ko kayo kapiling. Pero lahat ng kalungkutan na iyon napawi na dahil muli ko kayong makakasama ngayong araw na ito,” he said.
He added: “Bawal na ang mainit na ulo. Pag may nagkamali palakpakan na lang natin.”
Revillame took an indefinite leave from “Wowowee” after drawing criticisms generated by his order to cut the live streaming of former president Corazon Aquino’s funeral procession last August 3.
Revillame, who is rumored to be eyeing the vice presidential post in the 2010 elections, is expected to announce his political plan before his show ends on Monday.

Yun sa akin lang, eh kung sa iyo kaya nangyari yun nakita ko sa wowowee on the following events:
1) Kung yun NANAY/LOLA mo na manood ng show tapos NA-IHI sila bago nakarating ng banyo at sa pagbalik para umupo eh ginawang joke ni Willie at ipina-focus pa yun puwet ng NANAY/LOLA na basa ng ihi so lahat ng audience ay pinag-tatawanan kayo.
2) Kung yun NANAY/LOLA mo ay wala ipin at siya ang ginagawa ni Willie para magpatawa
3) Kung yun anak mong babae eh hindi nag-aral at ang alam lang ay magaling sa sayaw pero ginagamit ni Willie na pagtawanan dahil hindi marunong yun anak mong mag-inglis
I'm not opposed to Willie making jokes in the show pero huwag naman to the expense ng mga mahihirap. Nakakaawa na nga sila ganoon pa ang pag-turing ni Willie.
Eh si Willie mismo eh hindi marunong mag-english tapos gagamitin niya yun mga dalita para lang makapagpatawa siya?
Yan ba ang PRO-mahihirap??? Manlait nang tao?????

Six months ago I wrote a lengthy complaint letter to ABS-CBN about how Willie makes fun of the poor people with no teeth (mostly his contestants) as well as when he made fun of an old lady who was not able to control her bladder (the camera man even focused on the lady's wet pants ... gggrrrr). Also mentioned about their sleasy dancers (why do they feel the need to have them on the show???). I e-mailed the letter to their regular mailbox and to their various executive offices addressed to Charo Santos.
Needless to say, nothing happened ... I wonder when ABS-CBN will wake up on how we feel about Revillame. Also wonder how much awareness does the Lopez family have as to what their network doing?

I only like Willie when he's "truly" giving away the money. Pero there are more times when he confuses the contestants rather than help them get the money.
Akala ko ba, they're removing the trashy clothes? Bakit the guy dancers are dressed in pants, long sleeves and vest but the women were back to their short shorts and revealing tops where things can hang out of them?
Why can't these dancers dress modestly just like how we were taught in home/school as part of being a good catholic? Having it all hang out 6 days a week then go to confession on Saturdays/Sundays isn't going to cut it!
Now Willie is going to run for PUBLIC office????? OMG ... maawa naman tayo sa Pilipinas!!! Kung talagang si Willie is on the side of poor, why not build a low income housing in the different poor areas rather than build a MALL, purchase a YACHT and now a JET???
This is a good example of why other cultures look down on us ... sad, very sad!

Talaga lang na pag si Willie ang host malakilaki ang naibibigay sa contestant na nangailangan. Ayaw nyo bang makatulong kahit pangsamantala sa mga taong naghihirap kumita ng malaking sahod? Di ba maraming kababayan natin ang galing dyan bago nag abroad? Naghanapbuhay lang din naman ang mga dancers at co host huwag nyo ng laitin. Matuwa pa nga kayo at nagsisikap silang kumita sa kaya nilang gawin.

walk the talk?
So he’s here to stay – teaching his “values” and “setting examples” to our youth. As someone wrote “Willie Revillame may be suspended or may voluntarily take some time off as a result of this latest controversy but he will surely be back because cockroaches live forever.” Why bother getting him to go on leave? I once wrote and mentioned ABS CBN’s “integrity and commitment to the betterment of the Filipinos”. How wrong I was. Now we all know that all the station cares about is ratings. Where now is your “walk the talk”?
