MANILA – Even the fans of Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos, known as the Vilmanians, are familiar with their idol’s strategies and political plans.

Amid the speculations, Jojo Lim, president of the Vilma Santos Solid International (VSSI), said he is positive that Santos isn’t keen on running for vice president.

Lim and the rest of the Vilmanians, including all alliances of the umbrella organization VSSI, meet regularly to monitor the latest political advisory from Santos, who is fondly called Ate Vi.

“We see to it na alam namin ang plano ni Vi sa pulitika para alam namin kung saan kami papasok sa pagtulong sa kanya,” said Lim, who has been a solid Vilmanian since the early 70s when the actress was at the height of her popularity.

He added that there are a lot of political parties who are wooing the Batangas governor to run in their ticket.

Since Santos was topping election surveys, not quite a few combinations with prospective presidential candidate have cropped up like Noli de Castro-Santos team, Gilbert Teodoro-Vilma Santos duo, Ramon Revilla, Jr.-Ate Vi partnership, Manny Villar-Vi mix, and others.
