Award winning  young actor Nathan Lopez, the star of hit independent film "Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros (2005) is now freed from 'gay' tag with his newest movie "Teach Me To Love" where he stars with sexy actress Maui Taylor.

Lopez who receieved so many tv ad movie projects after portraying the role 'Maximo' said that he now feels happy and sad.

He is happy because he became busy doing what he had been wanting to do as a young boy -- acting.

He also feels sad because almost all the parts that came his way after 'Maximo' were that of young gay roles--a lot of people actually believed he's gay in real life.

Now he is playing the role of a high school student who develops an affair with his Physics teacher played by Taylor in their first movie together "Teach Me To Love."

Lopez said that he is thankful that line producer Joey Romero offered him the role which not only broke the chains of his 'gay' typecast but also paved the way for him to be working with no less than National Artist for Film -- Eddie Romero.

In an interview he shared that his hot scenes with Taylor made him edgy  and uncomfortable but eventually he learned to take  control with the help of course of his teacher -- Taylor.

"Teach Me To Love" also stars actors Tonton Gutierrez, Ricky Davao and actress Jackie Aquino.

Actor Emilio Garcia plays a cameo role while newbie star Kristel Moreno is introduced in the film.

What makes the movie more special is that the country's acoustic singing heartthrob Nyoy Volante will make  his movie appearance for the first time

The film is now showing in Robinsons Galeria and Robinsons Ermita.
