Michelle van Eimeren: No hard feelings toward Regine Velasquez
Former Miss Australia and Miss Universe contender Michelle van Eimeren said she is happy for her ex-husband singer Ogie Alcasid and his new love singer Regine Velasquez.
In an interview with TV entertainment show "Startalk", van Eimeren revealed that her marriage with Alcasid had long been annulled although they did not make it public. She said that she thinks Regine and Ogie are good for each other and is wishing them well.
The Australian beauty who was once smitten with the Filipino singer when she came over to the Philippines for the Miss Universe pageant in 1994, became Mrs. Alcasid in 1998. She also had a brief showbiz career of her own. She and Alcasid have two daughters, Leila and Sarah.
Van Eimeren , who now lives in Australia with her kids, also revealed that she is already romantically involved with someone else but declined to give details. Van Eimeren and her daughters flew in from Australia on September 26. They will attend Alcasid's 20th showbiz anniversary concert "20/20" scheduled on Saturday night at the Araneta Coliseum.
Van Eimeren said she and her kids will be in the Philippines for a two-week vacation.
