Robin Padilla wants Drilon to step down
MANILA -- Action star Robin Padilla on Monday hit Senate President Franklin Drilon, who recently admitted getting P100 million in Development Acceleration Program funds after the impeachment of former Chief Justice Renato Corona.
Drilon was the secretary of the Department of Justice when Padilla was imprisoned for gun possession in 1995.
Padilla posted on his Instagram account a manipulated photo of Drilon with the body of a pig bearing the title "Pig and Politician Cross Breeding.
Drilon earlier said there is nothing wrong with the P100 million he got in additional funds last year, saying the money went to the infrastructure projects in his home province of Iloilo.
