Singer-actress Sarah Geronimo requested the media not to link her to any rumored rift between her big screen partner John Lloyd Cruz and his non-showbiz girlfriend Liz Uy.

In an interview, Geronimo said that se has nothing to do with the couple’s affair and stressed that she’s can’t be the cause of their disagreements.

“Ay ayaw ko po ng ganyan sana ay huwag po akong idamay,” Geronimo said.

The singer, who courts box-office queen status with the success of her debut Film “A Very Special Love” with Cruz, said that that every couple goes through problems but they will soon be able to overcome their trials.

“Mayroon naman sigurong dahilan sila. I believe lahat ng couples ay dumadaan sa ganoong pagsubok sa kanilang relasyon,” she said.

Geronimo said that she’s busy with a lot of showbiz commitments and so is Cruz. They seldom see each other but she said that their friendship remains the same anyway.

“Kami nagkikita lang kami minsan kapag ‘ASAP 08’ lang. Tapos concentrated kami sa trabaho namin especially ako sa numbers ko sa ‘ASAP’. Medyo mabibigat kaya walang chance na makapag-usap ng matagal. Pero okay pa din naman ganoon pa din naman,” she said.

Geronimo will have a concert concert dubbed as "The Next One" set on November 8.

"The Next One" would be directed by Johnny Manahan with Louie Ocampo as the musical director.

Aside from her weekly performance on weekly entertainment show, ASAP ’08, you could also watch Geronimo in her out-of-town shows.
