MANILA – Charice’s first international album will not be released this year as scheduled. Instead, the international singing sensation will first promote an all-star Christmas album that will be launched on November 27.

Charice recorded “The Christmas Song” for the album called "A Very Special Christmas Volume 7."

It will also be composed of Colbie Caillat, Carter Twins, Miley Cyrus, Kristinia DeBarge, Gloriana, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean Kingston, Leighton Meester, Mitchel Musso, Kellie Pickler, Ashley Tisdale and Carrie Underwood.

The proceeds from the album will go to Special Olympics, an international organization that helps people with intellectual disabilities.

"Mauuna iyong Christmas album. Baka next year na po ang album ko talaga. Siguro mas maganda 'yon para ma-promote ang album ko. Para kapag narinig nila iyong song ko, bibili sila ng album ko," Charice told abs-cbnNEWS.com.

In December, Charice is set to perform on NBC to promote the Christmas album.

U2, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Madonna, Sting, Bon Jovi, Reba McIntyre, Alan Jackson, Wyclef Jean, Sheryl Crow, Mary J. Blige, No Doubt, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Vanessa Williams and Bryan Adams were part of the previous "A Very Christmas" CDs.
