MANILA – Arnel Pineda, the Filipino lead singer of American rock band “Journey,” flew home early Wednesday from San Francisco, California in the United States.

Pineda arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport via PAL flight PR 105 at 3:45 a.m. with his family.

The singer said his main agenda right now is to repair his home damaged by tropical storm Ondoy (international codename Ketsana). He will also lead some fund raising events for the thousands of flood victims.

“Ipa-prioritize ko muna iyong pag-repair sa bahay ko kasi nga affected ng typhoon Ondoy. We might do fund raising events para sa mga biktima,” he said in an interview with ABS-CBN News upon his arrival at the airport.

To the thousands of flood victims, Pineda said: “Sana po lakasan niyo pa ang loob niyo. And there’s a lot of help coming to you, guys. Dasal lang ho. Maraming maraming dasal.” -abs-cbnNEWS.com
