MANILA, Philippines -- Actor Matteo Guidicelli is in love -- with sports, that is.
"Honestly, I'm in love nowadays. I'm in love with my sports, I'm in love with my friends, they're always there for me. My trainers, everybody, I'm just inspired," said Guidicelli, who has become busy doing triathlons, which combine swimming, biking and running.
In an interview with ABS-CBNnews.com on Monday afternoon, Guidicelli said he was just joking when he said he is running away from love after his breakup with actress Maja Salvador.
He stressed he and Salvador are okay. "Walang problema," he said.
"I'm happy. This sport is really inspiring me, pushing me forward. So I just keep myself busy and moving forward," said Guidicelli, a former champion go-karter.
Right now, he said he's not even searching for a new love.
"I'm not looking for anything right now because I'm contented with what I have now, I'm contented with what I'm doing," he said.
Guidicelli said he is also excited with his upcoming television series "Paraiso" with Jessy Mendiola.
"Basta ako I'm very excited na 'yung aming show na 'Paraiso' is coming out and I'm very excited for it. This is really a totally different thing, first time ko talaga ginawa ito. I'm busy with taping and I'm giving my 110% sa show because it's a very improtant to me, I love it," he said.
"'Yung training ko very busy din. So kapag wala akong taping ay nagte-training ako. So I'm very happy with what I'm doing," added Guidicelli, who will represent the Philippines in international triathlon in Maui, Hawaii later this month.
